Master your craft. Build your confidence.
Hands-on learning for therapists who want more.
Applied Manual Therapy
Applied Manual Therapy is a six-part hands-on series for massage therapists and physiotherapists who want to work with more confidence and less guesswork. Each session takes one region of the body and builds the same three skills every time: what to feel for, what it means, and what to do about it. Not a protocol to follow, a way of reasoning you can apply to whatever walks through your door.
-
Jaw pain, cervicogenic headaches, and postural tension patterns. Learn to assess and treat the muscles that drive the most common upper body presentations.
-
Shoulder restrictions, thoracic stiffness, and upper back pain. Understand how the shoulder girdle and thoracolumbar region work together — and what to do when they don't.
-
Elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand. Address overuse injuries, nerve entrapments, and grip-related dysfunction with precise palpation and targeted techniques.
-
Low back pain, SI joint dysfunction, and core stability. Develop confidence working with the lumbar spine, pelvis, and surrounding soft tissue.
-
Hip, knee, lower leg, and foot. Treat common presentations from glute dysfunction to plantar fasciitis, with a focus on functional movement and load management.
-
Bring it all together. Complex cases, multi-region assessments, and full-body clinical reasoning. Available exclusively to those who have completed Sessions 1–5.
The Workshop Series
*Session 6 is open to participants who have completed all five regional sessions. It is designed as a capstone experience, not a standalone workshop.

How It Works
-
Start wherever suits you. Each session stands alone, though most participants work through the regions in order.
-
A full day of small-group, supervised practice. You'll be palpating, treating, and reasoning through real presentations, not sitting through slides.
-
Walk away with a Certificate of Attendance and a manual you'll actually use. Claiming CPD with AMT, ATMS, or AHPRA takes a few minutes; see below.
-
Come back for the next region at your own pace. Session 6, the capstone, opens once you've completed all five.
Who It´s For
Massage Therapists
You already work with your hands every day. This workshop develops the palpation depth and clinical clarity to make every treatment more intentional.
Physiotherapists
For practitioners who believe that what you feel under your hands matters as much as what you know, and want to develop both.

Meet the Instructor
Gabriel Florit is a Remedial Massage Therapist and educator with over 15 years of experience in the sports, health and education sectors. FAQ
-
No. Each session covers a different region and stands on its own. Most participants move through them in sequence because pricing and scheduling reward it, but you can join wherever suits your practice.
-
That's fine for CPD purposes; each session is independently worth claiming. Cross-Regional Clinical Reasoning, the capstone, is the only one that requires all five to be completed first.
-
It's built for practitioners who already have a working knowledge of anatomy and palpation, remedial massage therapists and physiotherapists. If you're a student, contact us before registering, and we'll help you work out if the timing is right.
-
Comfortable clothes you can work in and be worked on. Tables, towels, and materials are provided.
-
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the session. See the Humanitix listing for the exact terms of the current session.
-
See the CPD Recognition section above for AMT, ATMS, and AHPRA-specific steps. All three are self-recorded; no separate approval is needed.
-
Yes, all sessions run at the Adina Apartment Hotel, Sydney Airport.
-
We're working on a self-paced digital course. Not live yet, live sessions are the way to learn hands-on for now.
